Phase 1 was a Success!!

This past Sunday Sleep is 4 Suckers hosted our last major event for the year. Phase 1 was a success. You had to have been there to grasp just how amazing the vibe was throughout the entire event, but in case you weren't there here is a little bit of what you missed.

Imagine cameras clicking, lights flashing, music thumping, and bottles popping in a huge studio space filled with people apart of the Sleepless Society. Now usually I would be enjoying myself and embracing the scene in order to blog about it the following day; however, I was lending my other talents to style the models and create looks for the photos. Even though I can't give much details about how the party was, I can tell you that my department, the dressing room and backstage area, was full of model, makeup, and hair chaos. Over 150 people showed up in support of Sleep is 4 Suckers, and we would like to thank everyone (too many to name) who came through to help us pull off such an amazing and successful event. We owned the night!

Your Last Chance

I want to make more money. I want to lose weight. I want to find myself. I want to be happy.
Remember all of those New Years Resolutions that you set back in January to accomplish this year? Well the year is almost up, so where are you now? Have you exceeded your goals or have you not gave them any attention since the day after you vowed to reach them? Congrats if you have met or exceeded your goals! You are apart of the small percentage that resolved their new years resolutions. However, if you were in the later group and, somehow, fell off track from reaching your goals, it's not too late to resume course. Sure the year is almost over, but there are 28 more glorious days left in 2012. Those days should be spent working towards your goals. Sure, you may not achieve them by midnight New Years Day, but you will finish the year out strong and get a head start on next year's resolutions. It's never too late to go after what you want. I have pushed the start, stop, resume, pause, and play buttons (and in that order) on the remote control of my life goals this year, and refuse to end the year with my goals in the pause position. When your goals are on hold the life that you want is being put on hold as well. When you finally resume, you will still have to put in the same amount of work because that dream did not get any closer while you were on pause. By not stopping your progress then the goal will be reached much faster. I know for a fact that if I had stuck with my resolutions instead of giving up, then I could have met my goal and surpassed it. But it's not to late. It's never too late when your future depends on it. So keep on trucking Night Crawlers. Your destination is right around the bend.
